Pet Friendly Accommodations In The North Carolina Mountains
Information To Bring Your Pets To The Highlands-Cashiers Mountains
North Carolina Mountain Care for Your Dogs & Cats
To many of us, we do not think of going anywhere without our furry four-legged family. Check out our pet friendly accommodations. Emergencies do arise- so below is a list of pet hospitals should you need one.
What else should I consider when I bring a pet to the mountain?
-
Make certain they have a collar and proper identification
-
Chips put in their ears are best in addition to collars as they can get lost or come off.
-
Take food and water for them on hikes.
-
If you are joining a group that is hiking, do NOT bring your animals. They are not welcome.
-
Make sure you have adequate medications if your animal is taking something.
-
If they need special dietary needs, bring enough for your stay.
Keep in mind that the mountain is home to many kinds of animals. So be careful with your loved furry family. Bring them with you and enjoy them. Keep them safe while you visit.
